Having lice is a huge annoyance. In a residential setting to prevent lice from travelling from one sibling to another, items like pillows and bedding should not be shared. If lice lay eggs (nits) they can be very hard to look for when checking your children’s hair too. The bottom line is, no sharing of anything!


To make them go away, the best thing to do is to first wash all beddings and pillows using the hot water setting in your machine. When drying you again want to dry them using the high temperature setting. This will effectively kill any lice or eggs that are left in the fabric. The next thing to use is to use a nit comb and check your children’s hair thoroughly. This procedure is an effective hands-on approach sued by many to take lice out of the hair. As a preventive measure you can use child head lice control products like shampoos and washes. A product to cater to your needs can be found easily over the counter and if you prefer something high-end or organic, you can consult a designated clinic for head lice as well.


If for some reason the issue still prevails, you can go to a designated clinic for head lice removal. The staff at the clinic is expert in head lice removal and have years of experience that helps in them performing a speedy job. Some salons/clinics even promise that they will remove all semblances of lice and nits in the very first visit. The procedure goes on for up to 2 hours and by the end of it you can be sure to be lice free!
